Training Options:

Group Training

Child-Teacher Relationship Training (CTRT) is an evidence-informed group training designed to strengthen relationships between educators and the children in their care. Offered to schools and daycares, CTRT equips teachers and early childhood educators with practical, play-based skills to build connection, support emotional regulation, respond to challenging behaviours, and create more secure and responsive classroom environments. Through interactive learning and hands-on practice, educators gain strategies they can immediately integrate into their everyday interactions with children.

Adminstrator Training

Administrator Training provides school and daycare leaders with the knowledge, practical skills, and resources needed to support relationship-based and play-informed practices within their teams. Designed as a train-the-trainer model, administrators learn how to effectively teach and coach staff in strategies that strengthen educator-child relationships, support emotional regulation, respond to challenging behaviours, and foster connected classroom environments. This approach allows organizations to build internal capacity, create consistency across staff, and sustain these practices beyond the initial training.

Workshops

The Connected Classroom Workshop is a four-hour professional development experience designed for child professionals who work directly with children in schools, daycares, and community settings. Grounded in attachment theory, child-centered play therapy, and current research in child development, the workshop provides practical strategies for strengthening relationships, supporting emotional regulation, understanding behaviour, and creating more connected and responsive environments.

A key component of the workshop is educator self-care and well-being, recognizing that caring for children begins with caring for the adults who support them. Participants explore practical ways to manage stress, maintain emotional capacity, and build sustainable practices that support both their own well-being and their ability to remain present and connected with children. Participants leave with practical, immediately applicable tools and a deeper understanding of how connection, regulation, and educator well-being work together to create thriving classroom environments...
